Good afternoon, heading to unit 36 in Idaho Oct 15 thru the 24 for mule deer. I've been to Stanley a couple times but not to sure where to go for the deer up there.
Any suggestions for me and my kid?

Really good deer hunting area over the hill.....close to Spokane........
Hasn't the area you are heading to been on fire for a few months?
Maybe a call to local FS.....

It has been, but when u had to pick your unit last Dec to hunt....u never know what might happen

Better to find out if they still have road closures.....high traffic...
And possibly rainy weather can make those torn up roads really dangerous....doesnt take much....
