I have a HVA Small Ring 1640 long action, .473 bolt face, with Dakota 3-position safety installed, I also have the original bolt shroud. The action with safety weighs 38 ounces, so it should build someone a nice light weight hunting rifle. The trigger guard and bottom metal are an alloy, and the front action screw is a little messed up from a screwdriver slip. I do not have the trigger for this action it had an aftermarket trigger that was non functioning when I bought it and the cutout in the tang for the original safety has been filled in but looks reversible. A Timney # 201 or 301 trigger should work with this action. If you choose to go with a #301 Timney you'll need to remove the safety slot filler and reinstall the original bolt shroud.

I'm asking $500 shipped to your FFL from a non-FFL for the action, safety and original bolt shroud.

I also have available for purchase an Albright trapdoor butt plate if wanted with this action for an additional $100. If you see some brown on the butt plate that's dried oil from being in storage. The Albright butt plate is not for sale separately.

Here are some of the pictures.

I will trade plus cash either way. What I'm looking for is 10X42 range finding binoculars like Leica Geovid, 65mm spotting scope, VX3-VX6 optics maxing out no more than 18X power on the top end, and also a .308 Win bolt action rifle with threaded muzzle and a barrel that's 20" or shorter. If you happen to have a M700/Clone barreled action in .308 I can use that as well as I have a stock for it.

Posted on other forums. Thanks for looking!
