Shot this 200lb sow last night. The shot was quartering away at 100 yards.
I was on the opposite side of a ravine and saw a sounder disappearing into the brush.
She was the last one in the group.

The bullet entered just behind the second to last rib.
There was a lot of EXTENSIVE bleeding on the entry side.

After peeling back the first layer.
It was apparent the bullet impacted a rib sending bone fragments everywhere.

Internal damage was the size of my FIST!
Both lungs were jello.
Blood already had coagulated.

The bullet continued all the way through the hog exiting just behind the ear.
There was a nipple size exit about half an inch in diameter.
This is the 4th hog I have shot with the ELD-X all having the same exact result.
DRT - Dead Right There. Not a sound made. No curly shuffle dance.
I don't believe in a hammer of the gods bullet but this has performed like a hammer of the gods bullet so far.

Made me some chipotle/lemon and peppered/soy/onion backstraps!!!

Nice review!

What caliber is that bullet? I am very interested to see how these bullets work in the close range, velocity plays a big role in the behavior of the bullets especially in magnum calibers.

6.5 Creedmoor (Guess I should have sated that little factor.
I need to shoot another coyote. These things ripped through a coyote requiring a secondary follow up shot. The distance I shot coyotes were 50 yards and 2 just around 100-125 yards.
