Hey everyone, my name is matt. I am sure there is a few guys on here that know me from another site here in the northwest. I was lucky enough to pull the 1 early 46-1 Idaho tag for elk. While doing some research I found this forum. Hopefully I will be able to get my first bull on this hunt and maybe if I am lucky a good one.
I have been elk hunting for 12 years and taken 5 antlerless elk 4 bow 1 rifle. Just never had the chance to kill a bull in the units I hunt as most of them are spike or antlerless.
I have hunted in many states and will be hunting 4 states again this year and looking forward to all the time I can get in the field and really looking forward to this hunt.
