Looking forward to learning as much as possible and research through the threads to choose an all purpose round that take small to medium game and ring still at 1k with authority. I am entertaining the more traditional heavy for calibers bullets for reloading in 243 24 to 26 in heavier barrel, 7 mm-08 22 to 24 in heavier barrel. removable magazine, possible chassis or HS precision .

Welcome Greg, both of your cartridges will get you there it's your choice . Most go fast twist and AI the parent case,while that does work there's more then one way to get there longer barrels-heavier contours , it's yours have fun and make it what you want it to be . Happy reading !,cheers
