Hello, my name is David. I currently live in Oregon, originally from Missouri. I just recently started getting into reloading and long range shooting. I just got Browning X-Bolt Long Range 300 win mag. I'm planning on using a 178 ELD-X Hornady round. I love to hunt, but still learning the areas to hunt here in Oregon. Only started hunting in Oregon 2 years ago with bow, with no luck and going to try rifle next year.

I'm open to any advice, as I am literally just starting.

The west side of the state usually has otc tags for deer and elk. East side is usually draw tags. Lots of private property on the west or crowded public lands.
