Just wanted to say Hello and thank everone for contributing to this site. I finally broke down and dcided to shoot 22 for a while and improve my marksmanship. Bought and sold 44 mag, 7mm wetherby mag, kept the 45, 40, and 223. Thinking of 22 bolt action rifle and the money I'll save. I'm two weeks out from 60 and one year 8 months from retirement and wanted a hobby for recreation. If I don't pick one real quick my wife is going to make me a professional shopper. Yeesh. I don't even like going to the supermarket when I'm hungry.
Anyhow I was looking at CZ or Savage rifles ( rimfire) and wondered if you had any suggestions for a rifle and scope? Thanks in advance for your consideration.
