I'm a new comer to long range shooting, looking forward to my first hunting experience where the prey doesn't shoot back. I served 10 years as an Army infantry officer, completing two tours in Afghanistan.
My newest toy, and first "big boy" rifle, is a Kimber Montana 84L chambered in .30-06. I have some questions about the rifle which I will be posting in an appropriate thread, but first wanted to introduce myself properly and say hello to the community. I have been lurking in the shadows for some time, enjoying the knowledge and experience available on the forum and finally decided to "pull the trigger" (bad pun, I know) and join the forum.
