Heading out tomorrow 1150 acre groundhog fields,the 204 is ready,shown below 3 shots 100 yards. Lots of groundhog sign.

Went out nice day but extremely windy saw 3 all in excess of 250,to 500 yards, they were spooky. Here's where I hunted, dropped one in his hole at 277 yards, checked twice, one shot to shoulder,tiny entrance but quarter size exit. The 24 NTX by Hornady really surprises me,a coyote would be DRT. Where ATV is parked behind pole is where I was hiding,the treeline behind me was at about 290 yards. If it wasn't for the high winds shooting would have been better. Still a good day.Where the gas truck is ,the pole behind it I watched one pop his head out,but for a split second waited two hours he never showed.And one at 529 yards ,i didn't take a shot .
