Curious is there any difference, well is there any preference to using forster or PTG head space gauges. I been told to only stick with one brand or the other don't have a go gauge of forster and then a no go PTG gauge...so is any either brand better than the other like the tollerence that they are held too? Thanks for any replies.

All gauges are made to indusrty standards (otherwise, they wouldn't be "GAUGES", they'd just be pieces of ground steel). There is a manufacturing tolerance for everything that is made, including gauges. Nothing in this world is exact. As such, it makes sense to use both the GO and NO-GO from the same maker. As long as they're kept in pairs (both gauges from the same maker) who made them makes no difference.
