In the recent past, I have converted my long time 308 into a 6.5x284. I have decided since buying a separate 308, my 6.5 will remain a 6.5mm. This means I have no home for the 308 barrel I took off the now 6.5x284. It is too great a barrel to toss and deserves a good home. This is a Hart 30 caliber (chambered in 308win) SS, fluted. Finished to just over 26", 11 twist. Threaded for the 700 action and the shank is cut for a Tubb lug, sendero contour. The round count is a bit over 1250. You will not be disappointed in the accuracy of this barrel. I have always got great speeds and killer accuracy with her. VV-N540 has been her favorite powder but has done very well with R15, H4895, R17, VARGET. Looking for $250.00 USD shipped to your door. USA only. Has shot the 155 variety, 168/178 AMAX, 190 SMK, 200 SMK and 208 AMAXs with excellent accuracy. Most groups for the 208s are in the .6-.7 MOA range and that is the least liked bullet for this barrel. She shoots the 168 and 178 AMAXs awesome! It is not uncommon to see groups in the .2-.3 MOA range even out 600+. The last time I had it to the 1K line she produced a sub 4.5" group with the 178s. Her farthest kill was 702 yards on a dall ram using the 168 AMAX. Loading data is available to the buyer.

Somebody is going to get a great barrel here. No need to wonder if your new barrel will shoot or not. I've already assumed that risk and proven it to be an excellent barrel. It is a SOLID .3 MOA performer. Gold Medal Match 168 or 155-190 grain hand loads. A new blank fluted is $500.00.
