Just helped a neighbor friend fell a dead hickory tree from his front yard. He knows that I have a 22-250 and that I like the heavy pills. In return for the help he insisted than I accept a bucket of 1400 Hammett and Sons Inc. 80 gr. VLD's. Of course I did accept as he said he had no use for them but I have never heard of them. Does anyone have any experience with these bullets? Thanks.

CVCOBRA1, the barrel is a benchmark 1 in 8. I have loads for Sierra 69 grain match kings and 77 grain Noslers. I use Nosler brass, Winchester LR primers, and H4831sc in both loads. Both the 69's and the 77's have the same 100 yard zero. I have had the 69's out to 400 and they shot so well I really haven't played to much with the 77's. Now I got a bunch O bullets to play with.
