Howdoo ,

Is a 6.5-284,243ai,6mmai,considered a SAAMI cartridge?
A friend wants a turnkey longrange varmint rifle.Mike

Someone correct me if i am wrong but i dont think any of them are.
6.5-284 ammo is loaded by Norma and i think Lapua but it is manufactured to European CIP spec.
There is no factory loaded ammo for 243AI and 6mmAI so i dont think it has a saami specification recorded, although there may be specs laid down for the dimensions.
