A while back I was looking for a gunsmith in western WI. I didn't see much in way
of reply, but someone mention there was a smith in Tomah Wi, but no other info.
I did some research and found the smith was Harold Fredd. I had Harrold install a new barrel and chamber for .30-06 Ackley on a 1909 Argentine Mauser this past saturday. He was very reasonable price, a real perfectionist, and a pleasure to work with. I finally found a gunsmith in my area that can do what I expect. I would highly recommend Harold.
