Anyone have the GPO rangeguide binos?

What's your opinion on them? Are they worth it

I just got a pair for Christmas. Haven't used them much yet. Ranging seems good from my porch. My only initial annoyance is that you can't choose to display only the horizontal distance, it always shows true distance with the angle corrected distance displayed under that

I would also add that I got mine on a 50% off sale, and at that price point I feel they are worth it. I'm not sure I'd spend the normal retail on any rangefinder, though

The glass is solid sharp in the center, good color, bright with their GPObright coatings, and they handle low light surprisingly well for the size.

I think GPO is best glass for the money in RFB's

Only limitation is no built in ballistics.

If a guy is using a kestrel for ballistics anyway it's a no brainer.

If a guy DOES want ballistics onboard, it might be worth waiting for this next generation of RFB's that was announced at SHOT - specifically Tract and Apex, but I'm sure there are others!
