Little comparison of my case Its the 585 Hubel Express. left to right , 585 HE , 338 lapua , & 300 win mag. Got 50 cases for my build its a cheytac size case with a belt .640 rim diameter 3.28" length . ultimate goal is a gs bullet 1015 gr .883 g1 bc @ 2300-2500 fps. should have 5000 ft lbs of energy @ 1000 yards and 1400-1600 fps .

Well I don't think the gs bullet is going to work . its a .587 diameter not .585.
but a member on here is going to help me with using cad software to draw up a bullet then I can just have them lathe turned . really I only need something with a bc of .525 or in that ball park . gs says a 1 in 18 twist will stabilize their 1015 . so im think if I stay below that weight I should be good to go. I wonder what is the most BC I can get out of a 750gr .585 diameter ? it should get them up to 2700 fps. yeah a 50 bmg would to but a lot less barrel life. that was one of my main points I wanted power but 10k plus barrel life . Ive read that straight wall magnums can have a throat last 20k rounds

You could screw those onto your handle bars with tassels out the primer holes!

Looks like a brass stoogie to me.:D

I think I'd call cutting edge bullets and have them build some. They are all turned pills with their riding bands. Lots easier than a home brew pill, they do that stuff everyday.

well Im looking at a few actions.
Got someone who has a Montana ph action their willing to sale me for 800$ which is abut 600$ cheaper than the bat action . a 1917 action would work but the rifle would only be like 16 lbs or so with that action . David Lehigh said he can draw me up a bullet as well and theres a member on here helping me using a scaled up berger style for with drive band

heres the first drawing got to add the drive bands but you get the picture .Browninglover on here has been a big help !

.585 790gr above a 168gr 7mm berger

What in the hell do you plan to use that for?:D Looks really cool though. Good luck with the build. Cant wait to see the finished product

well I always wanted a 577 (.585") and I want something to shoot out to 1000 yards
. plus good barrel life , it only .58 caliber lol wish amaxs came this sizegun)
hope to have it done probably early next year

I hope you are planning on a 20# or heavier build, and a brake.
Are you going with a 32" barrel?

it should be around around 20-25lb and yes a brake .
32" minimal maybe a 34" waiting to hear back on that .
1.5" diameter barrel barrel alone is 14lbs. going to need a scope with a good eye relief . ssk has 1147gr bullets I believe are made by Lehigh for the 14.5jdj . don't know the bc of the bullet but its got to be pretty high

you can just about fit a lapua case in the mouth of the 585 HE .
338 lm rim diameter is .590 afterall. case capacity is 213gr water I believe for the 585
