would like some input on vortex scopes ! I have leupold 4.5x14x56 want nf but $ is tight

Not real familiar with Vortex scopes but I have Leupolds on all my rifles and several of my shooting partners have Sightron SIIIs on their rifles. The Sightrons are great. Check them out. If you get an SIII you will not be disappointed.

The Leupolds are great and get the job done. The issue, which may not be an issue any more is to test your scope to make sure it has either MOA or IPHY elevation adjustments. Some acquaintances who do or used to frequent this forum and make a living in the LR industry tell me that some days Leupold throws in MOA parts and another day, IPHY parts. Lately, though, Leupold is using all MOA parts.

I have a Vortex Viper in a 6.5-20x44. I love the scope. For the money, you can't beat it.
