Getting a Leupold scope quote?

I've narrowed down my scope list to a Leupold VX-2 and was wondering does anyone ask for quotes to beat the minimum advertised price? I've down that with binoculars before but didn't know where to start with scopes. I'd love to support a forum sponsor too but didn't see this option.
