Have not gotten it yet.It will come in Thursday or Friday I think.I'll let you know and I will make sure the plug says 5 v dc just to make sure.

I wear glasses to read only so I will bring them just incase

No on the Sun shade, I wear glasses for everything and can read the print and numbers easily

Flatbow the trick is a trade.Think of something SHE needs and encourage her to get it so she owes you something!Then the Garmin comes home.
Sneaky but works.I encouraged my wife to fly to Louisiana to see her sister and friends for a week and I get the Garmin in the trade.

I let mine run 2 hours yesterday @ 30* & at 720pm right now it's @ 86%

I'd have to check but after so many sessions the Garmin starts kicking them off......Doesn't matter because all the sessions are stored on your phone through the App.

I think until you erase it. I've used it 7 times in 2 months. It can connect to your phone via Bluetooth. I just take a picture & then write it.
I've had lots of chronographs, this is absolutely above & beyond any I've ever had!
It's a nice sturdy box, that will last. I leave mine in the box
