Ganglion Cyst

Anyone have a Ganglion Cyst and what did you do to treat it?
I have one on my right wrist. It doesn't hurt or bother me now. It is almost about the size of a Kids Marbel.
Not going to my family Dr for a few months so wanted to see what I could do.

There are some youtube videos of people popping them by giving them a good smack with a book. I'd probably just wait to see the doctor or go to urgent care if it really bothered me.

As a medic I offered to hit a GC on my brother's wrist. He's a doctor so he knew that could work, but he declined the offer.

I've slid a needle into the side edge of mine. You just have to push from the opposite side to get it to drain out the hole you made with the needle. It took doing this 3-4 times before it stopped coming back.

I had one in the past on the inside of my wrist that interfered with my nerves and hurt sometimes. I had it surgically removed due it impacting me.

I have another that has been there and unchanged for 15 or so years.

They were called bible cysts by many for years....I'm not that tough. I'd stick it with a knife or needle long before that.

It's on the outside of my right wrist so I would have a hard time hitting it myself with my left hand. The next time I upset Jill, I'll give her a thick book and let her have at it!

I had one for a lot of years when I was younger and it eventually just went away
