I have been archery elk hunting in this area and wondered if there were any moose here. My question was answered on Friday. These are 2 separate animals. the first was standing in the road as I came around the bend about daylight. he hung around while I dug out my camera and put new batteries in. the date on the pic is a default date I guess because i didn't take the time to reset the day/time. I was grunting at him and he was plumb flummoxed. stood there @ 40yds for ever. sure wish I had a tag! I know he is not quite as big as Richards was, but that's a lot of meat!
