Will you tell me how you removed your handguard please?

I have a GII Hunter in 7.62 and I am amazed how accurate the rifle is.

As of now, I don't have the knowledge or the spine to work AR's yet. I would like to remove the handguard to paint the rifle.

Lock nut between the carbon tube and the receiver turn it left towards the reciever once it is loose unscrew the carbon Tube

I have owned a 24" varmint AR. I did not enjoy dragging it around the mountains to end up taking 35 yard shots.

I would go 24. I have a 26 on on my 6mm turbo 40. Might as well take advantage of that extra 100 or so FPS. I love the 6mm's. building a 6mm dasher bolt gun now.

The guys here, are Associates at Xero shoot almost everything with the 6XC Even some elk with 115 Bergers, should be a fun cartridge
