I have a GII Hunter in 7.62 and I am amazed how accurate the rifle is. As of now, I don't have the knowledge or the spine to work AR's yet. I would like to remove the handguard to paint the rifle.

Just kidding. I have owned a 24" varmint AR. I did not enjoy dragging it around the mountains to end up taking 35 yard shots.
