FS - New 300 RUM w/ 27\" Lilja
Good afternoon.
I need to free up some funds and have a 300 RUM being built which the smith just advised should be ready probably sometime next week.
300 Ultra Mag - Rem 700
Action trued, trigger tuned
27" Lilja No. 8 with 1:11 twist
Heavier recoil lug replaces the factory lug of course
Badger Ordinance FTE brake. Here is a link to a photo of this brake.

Stock and bottom metal is the HS Precision stock used on the Rem 700P w/ aluminum bedding block, 2 studs forward and 1 rear so it is ready to go for a bipod. The barrel channel has been enlarged to accommodate the Lilja barrel.
All work is done by Rick Freudenberg of Freudenberg Custom Rifles in Everett, WA.
Rick is a former Marine Armorer who is known to some of the WA shooters and is mentioned on Lilja's website in reference to building a rifle for a Palma team captain. He is also mentioned in the Nosler Reloading manual at page 189 as well as in some of the hunting magazines.
Appearance is similar to the Rem 700P but with a longer and heavier contour barrel for which the stock is opened up. The brake is also much heavier duty than the standard Badger Ordinance brake. Weight is finishing up around 11 +/-.
The rifle is new in his shop and will ship directly to the purchaser's FFL dealer. It should be finished and ready to deliver next week. Price is $2,325 which is exactly what it cost me.
