This rifle started out as a 6.5x47 Lapua about 5 years ago. I just recently bought a new gamescout stock and had a bbl chambered in a 6x47 Lapua for my 11 year old son. Well my son would rather have my old camouflage 243 ackley than this beauty so I figured I'd put it up for sale as I doubt I'll get around to shooting it much. Specs as follows:
Blueprinted Remington 700 with pinned recoil lug and bushed firing pin
#4 Brux 8 twist bbl 27" with interrupted flutes chambered in 6.5x47 Lapua. Round count I would estimate around 700. I am estimating high here.
#3 Brux 8 twist bbl 27" with interrupted flutes chambered in 6x47 Lapua. Round count exactly 5. Just break in, never even shot a group!
McMillian Gamescout mold in color stock std lop with flush cups and atlas rail
Timney trigger
BDL bottom metal
Talley lightweight aluminum rings

The 6.5x47 bbl has always shot extremely well. I have several groups with several different loads that are sub .300". It shoots very well with both H4350 and Ramshot Hunter.
Bipod not included but scope with two turrets for the 6.5x47 can be included for $800. Scope is vx3 4.5-14x50 Greybull precision. Turrets are cut for 7000' 30 degrees and I believe 4000' 50 degrees
Trevor with Cloud Peak built rifle.

Last group I shot with 6.5x47 bbl. coworker needed a rifle for an elk hunt so I spun 6x47 bbl off and installed the 6.5 bbl. shot one, made a sight adjustment, shot three more. He shot a 372" bull two days later at 55 yards with a 130 JLK
