Okay.. I'm in Australia. I hunt Sambar and Fallow Deer in the State of Victoria.
I've just come back from South East South Australia having hunted Rusa, Fallow and Red Deer.

What is your primary long range hunting cartridge? I have 2 main rifles...
Howa 300wsm which I customised. It has a Wild Dog SL stock in Grassland Cammo 1.2 lbtrigger, Devcon bedded .Harrels Brake and is about to get my old Conquest 4.5 to 14x44 fitted. About to be run in as its a bit of a project.

Weatherby Accumark 300 Wthby. 1.5lb Timney, Bedded in Devcon to enhance accuracy, Wthby Brake, Harris Bipod with Pod Lock, N/F tT low rings.

This scope on offer would be handy.. I have been waiting 5 months for a 5.5 to 22x50 and am having supply issues..It is fitted with a Conquest 4.5 to 14 x42 until my N/F arrives.
Running n/F PDA Kestrel 2500 1/4 inch groups..

Sorry, I dont use Barnes any more due to performance issues on Sambar.. they run too far. Not enough collateral damage on the way through IMO.
