I was thinking of building a 7-08 and probably would have got this one if plans hadn't changed: E. R. Shaw Barrel Kit Savage 110 Series Small Shank 7mm-08 Remington

It should work fine if you are using it for a hunting build.

I have always had good luck with Shaw barrels. Thanks for the heads up!
