Another rifle of mine up for sale to fund an Alberta moose hunt... It pains me to do so cause this rifle has been extremely accurate and lucky for me. I killed a muley buck and bull elk last season with this rifle, both single shot kills. The buck was at 435 yards and the bull at a modest 215 yards. This rifle hammers game with the 208 grain Amax!

Specs:

- Stiller Tac 300, Right Hand, Long Action, Fluted bolt, knurled handle
- 20 MOA rail screwed and pinned to action
- Manners MCS-T, bedded
- BDL bottom metal/hinged floorplate
- Rock Creek 5R SS barrel, 6 heavy flutes, 24", threaded 5/8 x 24
- Factory Remington trigger tuned to a crisp 2.5 lbs
- Barreled action cerakoted 'sniper grey' basically looks graphite black

What is the weight and barrel length?

Weight is 9.6 lbs on my bathroom scale. And barrel length is 24". Barrel twist is 1-10.

What's the contour of the barrel

I'm unsure of Rock Creeks contours, but this is 1.2" to .95" straight taper, fluting is heavy.

Jmcarrol: to answer your question about who smithed this rifle, I don't know, there isnt any rollmark or engraving on it. It shoots as well as my other custom rifles though.
