FNG checking in

FNG from Maryland checking in (yes, there are shooters in MD!)

My primary area of focus is precision rifle work. Given where I live, that means leaving the state to shoot most weekends.

Two weeks ago at my little home away from home in WV.

5rounds 155gr 308 win out of my Krieger barreled Tikka.

5rounds of 105 hybrid 6br out of my criterion barreled TL3.

I've lurked the reloading and varmint forums here for a bit and it's only right that I join. I'm active under the same username on a Maryland specific shooting board.

Thank you. Lurking just didn't seem appropriate. People here seem pretty decent and there's a LOT of information to be found. Hopefully I'll manage to contribute something useful eventually.

Tennessee, huh? Nice. I haven't spent much time there but what I did was pleasant. The firearms climate is much better. The people remind me of west Virginia in a lot of ways. They have a live and let live way of life and are very independent.

I like enablers. I was given the nickname "bad influence" on another board due to my enabling the gun addictions of others.

Thanks! I try to keep the ES on anything I really care about under 15. Some days I get lucky and keep my ES under 10. If the SD hits double digits, I get cranky.

Thank you. MD sucks. Being new, is it acceptable to post the names/info of for-profit businesses (ranges, gun shops, etc) that aren't site supporters? I don't want to visit banned camp on my first day. I've managed to stay clean on the other board since 2007 and don't want to break my streak. Happy to discuss over PM if posting is frowned on.
