Flat trigger vs curved

I am about to switch all my bolt gun triggers to TriggerTech. I'm planning on all my stocks having vertical, or near vertical grips like the AG Composites Alpine Hunter and I'm trying to decide whether or not to go with flat triggers or curved. I've only used curved triggers in the past. Usage will be 95% for whitetails and 5% target and coyotes. What are your opinions? Anyone have a flat trigger to try near Pepin County, WI for a case of beer?

I'd suggest shooting with a buddy whose running a style of trigger your interested in. I went flat now all my new rifles are flat.

If you make it over to the Scheels in Eau Claire, they have some trigger demos (on gun grips but not actual guns). I'm pretty sure they have a flat and curved. Not a full shooting experience but might help you decide.

I like a curved trigger because it fits the finger and locates it in the same place every time, making the pull weight the same. A flat trigger lets you move your finger up or down and that changes the weight.

I prefer curved trigger shoes for consistent pull weight. Triggertechs are awesome, you wont regret.

I shoot them both back and forth. No issues and like both. More vertical grip the flat tends to be nicer. Conventional Monty style grip I like a littler curve to the trigger.
Now semi auto pistol I am preferring more flat triggers. Same with the AR platforms. Revolvers curved. Seeing a trend

Weird, revolvers are the only curved triggers I can stand!

This is a blonde vs brunette debate. Just pick up a flat shoe and try it. Literally makes zero difference to me.

Touch bottom of trigger on knub. Exact positioning every time. Curved will allow for more ambiguous placement.

With a semi circle, the lower your wrist is positioned, the further down on the trigger the indexing will be. The higher your wrist, the higher on the trigger you will be. With flat, you have a bump that you can rest the bottom of your trigger finger against, for near perfect indexing every single time.

I still think it feels a bit weird, but it's definitely the more consistent way of the main options available currently.
