First GPS which Garmin?

Looking specifically between the 64S and the Oregon 600. Any preference either way? Will be used for public land hunting.

I have the 64S with onXmaps topo SD card for my state. The unit does everything I need for a hunt. I bought the Garmin topo card, but returned it. The onXmaps is far superior, it even lists names of landowners so you could contact them for hunt permission. I've seen some good deals on the 64S package recently.

I have both and much prefer the Oregon series. I was in the Cabelas in Mitchell SD and got the 650t on a special deal for about $220. I find it easier to use than the 64 series. The onXmaps are also the way to go.

I have the old Colorado GPS but having seen the Oregon I'd choose it over their other offerings for hunting/backpacking purposes.

I have used both and prefer the 64. It just seems to be more accurate, faster processor, more intutive. Have used them side by side.
