Not long range, however, I made my first trip to Texas for an Axis deer hunt. It was a last minute opportunity and I jumped on it. Sitting water holes was the plan and I was fortunate to take this buck at 40 yards on the first evening. He was 30.5" and 31.5" and has an extra point. I know nothing about them, but from my understanding, he is a pretty nice buck for my first Axis?

Have a great weekend everyone!

Steve

Any Axis with a bow is a good one! They are probably my favorite animal to hunt.......Beautiful animal and some of the best tasting meat you'll ever have.
That one should score well with the long brows and coddle tines.
