I know you guys from out of state pay attention to weather wherever your destination may be out west here but also be mindful of road and area closures due to fires. In western Colorado there are 3 fires taking place that affect units 21,30,62,42, I found out yesterday when I went up on the bookcliffs to hunt bear in some of my favorite spots in unit 30 when I came across a barrier with a forest service captain standing guard letting no one through except official firefighters. I hunted another area and the crowding from archery and bear hunters put us elbow to elbow, not very enjoyable for the guys I saw with Georgia, Pennsylvania and Utah plates. The fire west of delta Colorado is affecting the escalante canyon road, the fire southeast of parachute Colorado is affecting? Also keep an eye on i70 closures, there always seems to be a mudslide somewhere along the way. Be mindful and good luck to all of you
