Federal terminal ascent 270 WSM

Managed to shoot some terminal ascent bullets today and magpro powder. Tikka t3x 90 degrees out. Ended up with a flat 70gr magpro with nosler brass. 2.860 oal. 13 shots were average of 3230 with labradar. I was .085" off lands, just fire forming brass. I'm going to keep tweaking OAL when my 50 are fireformed. Weather did not allow me to try another powder with the TA bullets.

You must have a hotter lot of MagPro than I do. I'm only getting 2960 fps out of a 140 Accubond with 69.5 grains MagPro. This is out of a Tikka T3.

What brass are you using? It was hot outside as well

Measured some Winchester earlier and they were considerably different volume than the noslers. Any pressure signs?

I ran them up to 73 grains before I hit pressure signs but accuracy just wasn't there. Which brand had more capacity?

Winchester was all over the place capacity wise.
