Just as others have said...freefloating and bedding will do wonders. I would personally lap the lugs as well.
I have rarely had a factory gun that I couldn't get to shoot very well.
Concentrate your efforts on finding the right load for your gun

Read through the OCW and latter test information and have fun whooping your shooting partners *** at distance.
.250" at 100 yards groups don't necessarily translate to good groups at distance
