Are these original prints or some of the reproductions that have came out in recent years?

I was A big time Elmer Keith fan growing up....he’s part of the reason why I own about 15 different .44 magnums and just as many 429421 bullet molds.

I have no idea about being original prints, how can I tell?
Hell I was there is hard back, both gun notes are paper back

That I couldn’t tell you. I’m pretty sure that all the reprints are paperback. The originals are collectible in good condition and bring good money
