Doctor Charging Admin Fee Not Covered by Ins

So just got letter stating I will be charged a$39 administrative fee plus my actual medical charges. So is the new wave? I had a cardiologist quit from Obumocare bureaucracy so here we go again.

Sounds illegal to me. How about a comfort fee to sit in his waiting room? Recreation fee for the TV or stereo playing? Maybe an inflation adjustment fee?

I'd ditch that doctor.

Fees are used to supplement taxes, unit charges, and anything else that cannot be tied to an insurance coverage or regulated by an agency.

Yep, my normal medical care facility was charging $60 for the free COVID vaccine way back then. I changed facilities. But not always an option.
