I got lucky on this one. My stand is at the edge of a field with a creek at 100 yards. Spotted him at 150 in the woods. He came down the hill and crossed the creek into the field. They usually will follow the creek and back into the woods. He was quartered towards me and I got a good left lung shot at 80 yards. He ran towards the stand then dropped. It was an easy load into the truck.
