I just purchased a CVA Scout in .308win anyone have one & load for it looking for a starting point my 35 Whelen & 44 mag shoot great

Around 44 grains of Varget with a 168 bullet has always been a good load for a 308. Might work in your and might not. I shot a 5 shot group .195 ONE time with 44 grains of Varget and 168 AMAX….long time ago.

In my experience the 308 has not been real picky with bullets. Not a cva but it was 43.5 varget with 169 amax. Pick your bullet and use book load and work up
