Sako L579 .308 with blueprinted action and extra heavy 21" match barrel with 20 degree target crown. Metal work done by Stan Jackson. Action screws replaced with easy to torque hex screws for precision tuning. Synthetic stock is by Brown precision. It has been freefloated and pillar bedded by Stuart McLinda. Stock has been painted black and gray speckled. Reciever and barrel have been finished in flat gray brush stainless coating by Firefly. Have over $1200 invested. This gun has been a year in the making and has never been to the range. Originally purchased for long range shooting; but decided to go in another direction with a custom caliber.
