Custom Sako 6.5x55 Swede

Selling a custom rifle built by Accuflite on a Sako 85 action, chambered in 6.5x55 Swedish. The stock is a McMillan Sako Hunter(14" lop). The barrel is a Lothar Walther, 1.5 weight, reverse taper, 1/8 twist stainless barrel. The barrel, action, and magazine have all been cerakoted graphite. Additionally, the action is both pillar and glass bedded in the stock. $2500 + shipping costs. Paypal f&f/Venmo/cash or check accepted.

I have about 200 rounds through the barrel and can share handload data. The rifle loves Berger 135 classics, Nosler 140 gr Accubonds, and Nosler 120 gr BT's.

What length is the barrel? Can you provide the dimeter at the muzzle? They really like those reverse taper barrels at Accuflite how do you like it?

The barrel is 24". The diameter at the muzzle is .700 ". Yes, they like the reverse taper. I believe the theory is it reduced harmonics. They use that design for their match .22 lr barrels as well.

It's a great rig. I built it for deer and antelope. Very well balanced, light, and has a superb trigger. The reason I'm selling it is I have redundancy at that caliber and I had GAP build a custom 30-06 on my father's favorite rifle. For sentimental reasons, I find that's the rifle I reach for almost every time I go hunting.
