Congratulations to Tacey on her successful holiday Doe hunt. The deer was shot at 225 yards with a 22/284 and a custom 70gr Dead Blow Hammer.
Damage to ribs on entry and exit was roughly 2". Internal organs was devastating.
Dead Blow Hammers are frangible bullet that retain 40%-50% on impact. They have a very deep hollow point that causes them to shed much larger nose petals and expand on impact.
