SOLD/EXPIRED Custom built 338 Norma $4000 OBO

For sale is a custom built 338 Norma Magnum rifle. The rifle was built by Lorenzo Young of Deadly Precision Gunsmithing in Utah. This includes everything you see in the pictures except the bi pod and the rear bag. This gun shoots extremely well with .5 MOA groups out to 1000 being the norm not the exception. It has been shot 287 times and weighs 12.4 lbs on my scale. There is a little wear on the muzzle break and I couple small marks on the barrel which are shown in the pictures.

Parts used for the build are as listed. Stiller Tac 338 action, Mcmillan A1-3 stock, Jewell trigger, APA fat bastard muzzle break, Seekins 338 Lapua bottom metal and mag, and Brux 9.5 twist 1.350" AMU 27" barrel.

Extras included are 84 pieces of mixed firing norma brass all have been fired 1-3 times, 82 berger elite hunter 300 grain bullets, 37 Nosler accubond 300 grain bullets, 29 Cutting edge D65 252 grain bullets, 93 Sierra Matchking 300 grain bullets, 32 Berger hybrid OTM 300 grain bullets, custom redding 338 norma type s bushing neck die and seater die, and there are 13 loaded rounds that can stay loaded or be broken down to add 13 pieces to the brass and to the berger elite hunter bullets.

Update and price change

I am now going to include a set of seekins rings and a sightron SIII 6-24-50 LRMOA scope. These are great scopes and have developed a very good following and reputation. From my personal experience these scopes have great glass and are very repeatable. The new price for the rifle with scope and all the accessories is $4200 which is less than the price of buying a rifle of this quality by itself brand new. Thanks for looking.

For trades I am looking for a weatherby mkV SS 9 lug, a 223 diameter bolt face rifle to build on, or other bolt guns. I will also be OK with someone making payments for the rifle.
