I'm willing to bet that barrel will only fit a Cooper action, and possibly the particular model it came off of. I have a 6.5x284 barrel and it will only fit a model 22, which is what it came off of. Coopers customer service can help with this info which is where I got the info on my barrel. Just trying to help, and give a free bump.
