Good evening all
I have my life long friend for 56+ years and he recently inherited a TC Contender .256 and now has the bug to add barrels to it. I don't know much about them and recently bought him some wood for his Contender off a LRH member. What does anyone have for sale?
Thanks
Len & Jill

I've a got a few to sell. Most are scoped Some are custom calibers. All are blue. I'll get back with you tomorrow with a list & prices. Some are Encores. I think these are the correct pictures

Happy Holidays
Thanks for getting back to me. My friend doesn't reload and quite frankly he is inheriting his father's guns, money and estate so he is just looking mostly for a 17HMR . I am just trying to see what is out there that he buy factory ammo for.
Thanks

No problem. These came from a family friend who passed & he was a gun/reloading guru

I have a 10 inch 45/410 that I may part with, this one is a non vent rib with iron sights and internal choke.

Len,
One thing I would watch for is the Older Vs Newer Contender frames and I am hoping someone with more experience can chime in. I have both, the Contender you pictured here and a newer Contender frame. The older has a .45/410 barrel and the newer has a 7mm Super Bower barrel, and the newer would not fit/close on the older frame. Please be aware of this fact and confirm same before purchasing a newer Contender frame barrel and not being able to use in on an older frame.

Or please tell me if I am doing something wrong, mine simply would not close. I use Mike Bellm's parts and instructions to upgrade my TCs and they shoot great.
Good Luck with this project.

I don't want to mess up Len's ad, so if I need to I will delete this and we can have this conversation via PM or in the handguns page.

The newer barrels tend to have locking lugs that are a bit thicker than the older barrels. So, the first thing I would do is check is that. A bit of light stoning on the top of the lugs will almost always solve the issue.

As I know nothing about Contenders. I am actually doing this for my lifelong friend.
