Cactus is no match for these gaiters

Tried out my turtleskin gaiters vs some cactus. They worked great! Just make sure to order huskey if you want them to fit over backpacking boots.

When I was stationed in Davis-Monthan AFB in the early 1990s, I started using snake proof boots that are 18" tall while quail hunting and it works great too ... not to mention an added security on rattlers. It continued in NM in the late 1990s and now here in MT.

Nope, never had the chance or desire to find out if they are really snake proof ... but so far in all my encounters, they ended up ...
