Redding type S bushing dies take a certain type of neck bushing. Seems to be interchangeable with a Wilson and Whidden. Is it interchangeable with Hornady and the Redding competition neck bushings too?

I cant remember for sure but I think the Wilson's are not interchangeable and the rest you mentioned are. I get all my bushings from Whiddens they seem to be what there stamped for size I've had some reddings that were a .001 off.

I think that Hornady's are not really interchangeable with the Reddings. I have some Hornady bushings and they are longer than the Reddings.

I interchange hornady and redding bushings, no problems so far. I dont think length is an issue since you set up the bushing to float in the die.

The Reddings Bushing in my Redding type S fl sizing die is limited on how much it can more side to side.
The outside diameter of the bushing would need to be the same or very close in other brands.

Redding had the patent on the bushing die first. Others are just copies.

Found this on interchangabllity.
