Browning xbolt McGowan prefit.

I bought a Mcgowen prefit for my browning xbolt in 257 bee. I messed the install up a little, I did not put anti seize on the small threads. But after some help from McGowen it's a great shooter. It's a shouldered prefit with no nut.
If anyone is looking to rebarrel a xbolt I recommend the prefit. Just remember the anti seize on the threads.

Just shot a 1/4 inch group at 100 yards with n565 and 100gr ttsx at 3650 FPS

Where there any tricks to getting the original off?

I have an X Bolt in 300WM. My plan is to be able to switch barrels to a 6.5 PRC and then eliminate half the guns in my safe.

Yeah. Just rebarreled again to a 1-7 twist 257 bee.

any grease will work. I prefer a high-temperature, high-pressure grease vs. an anti-seze.
