Has anyone rebarreled a browning ?
The local gunsmiths I deal with say they won’t touch a browning to rebarrel because they say there is some sort of crazy loctite used from the factory and they ruined a action in the past.

I guess you need to be smart enough to heat the action to make the loctite release. Newer model 70,s are the same. I am not a fan of the brownings. 36 thread so they can make a smaller diameter receiver. That being said they can be barreled to shoot very well. But I would not choose one for my own rifle. The Brownings I love are the old safari grade. FN action and they will bring you home.
