Bolt oxidation

Hi guys,

Hope you are all well. Hey, What can I use to get some of the oxidation off this bolt handle? I thought maybe naval jelly but is there something better?

You might check out Evapo Rust I have used it on dies before and it worked well

Fine steel wool and wd40 , unless you plan on rebluing

Since bluing is a type controlled rusting, Any chemical that will remove rust will remove the bluing too, 0000 steel wool and oil will clean it up. If Steel wool won't smooth it up, Polish and reblue is about the only option.

Fine steel wool and wd40 , unless you plan on rebluing

0000 steel wool and wd40 or any light gun oil. Strip oil with alcohol then cold blue per instructions.
