Big Idaho Mountain Lion

Benjamin, his brother, another friend, and their dogs hunted this big Mountain Lion through the thick Idaho snow. Benjamin used a 7mm-08 Pistol and the 131 Hammer Hunter @ 2700 FPS. The cat expired instantly. Roughly 1" wound and they recovered one petal opposite hide. Congratulations to the hunting party and dogs!

I know several guys that eat them and they say it is really good. I have had some breakfast sausage out of a cat and it was good.

Awesome. I did a hunt with dogs in February five years ago. Lots of work chasing dogs in deep snow. Nice cat. Congrats.
